Sis. Catherine Wood has been working with the youth and Nursing Home Ministry for twenty plus years.
They visit the Pine Lodge Nursing Home in Beckley one Thursday each month. They sing and minister to
the patients.
Every holiday they have a party for the patients. Sis. Catherine takes cakes, cookies and drinks for
everyone. They sing and Sis. Catherine reads scriptures from the Bible and always tries to give them an
encouraging word. They have drawings and she will have prizes for them. Every one gets some kind of
prize.
