Praise the Lord!! Testimony of Bro. Solomon
I am proud and happy to reveal journey and path towards missionary work.
I was born in Chennai, fourth largest city of India on 1978. I am the fifth among the 8 children to my parents Selva Durai
and Glory. When I was born, father was a constable in State Police but was dedicating his time for missionary regularly.
He was running a small
church where prayer meetings were conducted regularly.
I was just eight months old, my parents saw me saying "Alleluia". My father took full time ministry leaving his job. I was
fifteen years old then.
The Government withdrew the accommodation given to father as he resigned. We were searching for a shelter. At last
we got a house that everyone felt afraid to occupy (as this was the place 4 people committed suicide.). Satan was so
strong there we stayed amidst heavy struggles. We ran missionary at the same place.
God changed this to a holy and blessed. The place was offered at the rate of Indian rupee 1 million, father had just
200,000. Father took missionary work in United States. He left in 1998 handing over ministry works on my shoulders.
One of the office bearer in church felt that I was too young and started a separate missionary. Took all of our church
believers with him. I was restless and had much pain mentally.
In states initially father was helpless. He was struggling and we got a message that father was struggling. Amidst all
these struggles, we believed strongly in Lord and his name. No message from father for a long time, we were in such a
bad condition. Local people with the help of police threw us out of this place. Again we searched for shelter.
I decided to go for part time ministry as we needed money for survival. I went tor some jobs. Wherever I went for job,
people had some reason to say, I was forced to quit the job.
(Hebrews 5:4 And no man taketh this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.)
I was searching for jobs again. In the year 2002, I met with a major accident. I was riding a bike and a car hit me. I was
rolling on the road. I said, "Jesus save me save me" a lorry came with force and fortunately did not hit me. I went by
side and I had a narrow escape.
People gathered around said, "Hey man, its God's gift. This life is from the God. You were rescued by the Lord."
I decided to dedicate my life to the Lord. No more jobs, only job is to serve for Jesus, Jesus only.
Four years down the line, in the year 2006, I got a delightful message from Dad. He said "we have got the support from
Mabscott Holiness Church". I was living for Lord's name and a fellowship on same Lord's name is coming to support
me.
I got married on the same year. My wife is also a warrior for Lord. She supports me a lot in ministry. A smiling kid
Onesimus is now 3 years old. Continued below.............................................................
Mabscott Holiness Church is through which I got this ministry stronger and existent. Till date, gradually the ministry is
growing.
I am being taken in the right way, motivation, support and soothing words all these from Carletta Bolt. Healing words
from a co fellowship.
In front of Lord, one who strengthened me, is Bishop Buzz Keller.
I am crazy on soccer, I play it regularly. And I am running a sports ministry too. Youth who come to play are being
preached about Bible and our Lord.
I am running this youth/sports ministry traveling 20 kms by two-wheeler. This done twice a week.
Bible study, fasting prayer and Sunday service are usual contents accompanied by a street ministry. Night prayer is
held at last day of every month.
I am residing in a place where Hinduism is strong. Superstitions are strong. Needless to explain, kindly pray to
overcome the resistance I face here. Also pray for my needs to get fulfilled.
Till my birth to now, miraculous how Lord protected me.
